Annual Conference

The PWA Annual Conference is our most exciting event of the year! The event focuses on providing opportunities for professional as well as personal development in the form of panelists, workshops, and a keynote luncheon. It takes place in the spring, typically during Staff Appreciation Week, on campus, and has been held in the Corwin Pavillion and throughout the UCen with hundreds attending over the years.

The PWA conference is also a place to network with other UCSB staff members, and to embrace a sense of community along with your peers. Though the themes are centered around women's interests and issues; men, students, and community members are encouraged to attend and will also benefit from the offerings at the conference. This year's theme is "We Empower Women to be Architects of Change" and is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th at the new Loma Pelona facility on the UCSB campus.
