Conference Scholarships

Scholarship Availability for PWA Professional Development Conference

I. Departmental/Divisional Scholarships

Did you know that many departments cover the cost of professional development fees for their staff as part of Staff Celebration Week? We highly encourage you to research this opportunity in your department or division before going on to option II below.

II. Dilling Yang Scholarship

The Dilling Yang Scholarship covers the cost of training & learning opportunities such as the PWA Professional Development Conference. Deadline extension requests are encouraged for this scholarship. The form is available online (http://hr.ucsb.edu/tod/). We highly encourage you to look into this before going on to option III below.

III. PWA Scholarships

PWA Conference Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships are available for staff & students who are PWA members who either cannot afford the cost, or whose departments are unable to support the registration fee of $60. If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please do the following:

The deadline to submit PWA Conference Scholarship applications is Friday, April 18, 2008. Please note that you must be a PWA member to receive a scholarship. If you are not a member, please visit www.pwa.ucsb.edu/membership.
